Giving in Memory

Giving in memory is a distinct way to remember a loved one whilst making a valuable contribution to The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust Charity.

You can pay tribute to the memory of someone special in a number of ways. You could make a donation, hold a collection at a funeral or memorial service, set up an online tribute page, collect donations to mark a special date, such as a birthday, or even take part in an event or challenge in their name.

Your courage and kindness will ensure we can provide the best treatments and experience to our patients and their families, all in the name of your loved one.

In Memory Event

Set up a Tribute Fund today to commemorate the life of your loved one. You can share this page with family and friends, or keep it as a special place just for you to visit and reflect on fond memories. Your support will keep our patients smiling, whatever the future holds.

Set up a Tribute Fund

How do I set up a page in memory of someone?

  1. Log in and select ‘Start Fundraising’ at the top of the page or select ‘Start fundraising’ from our homepage.
  2. Select ‘Yes, I’m fundraising for a Charity’. Then search for and select your Charity/cause.
  3. Click on Yes for ‘Are you fundraising in memory of someone?’. Provide the name of the person and select Next. You can provide more than one name if you’re raising funds in memory of more than one person.

Collections at a Funeral Service

It can be difficult to know how to pay respects to a loved one, but a meaningful and lasting way is by asking friends and family to donate to our Charity.

The easiest way to do so is by setting up an online tribute fund and sharing the page with those who might wish to donate. It is a good way to involve family overseas who may not be able to attend the funeral.

Ask for donations at a funeral or memorial service

We can provide ‘give in memory’ envelopes to collect donations at a funeral or memorial event. Family and friends can donate by cash or cheque. If you would like us to send you some out ahead of the event, just contact us.
